Abstract

Nanomaterials have emerged as a game-changing resource in the realm of biomedicine and drug delivery systems due to their extraordinary characteristics, such as their small size, high surface area, and malleability. looking into the potential of nanoparticles to enhance the administration of medications, with a focus on enhancing bioavailability, reducing side effects, and targeting specific cells or tissues. We study the effectiveness of various nanoparticle, dendrimer, liposome, and nanocomposites systems as carriers and encapsulants of various therapeutic agents, including chemotherapeutic drugs, proteins, and genetic materials. Possible toxicity, stability, and regulatory concerns are only a few of the issues discussed in the article that are associated with drug delivery by nanoparticles. By investigating nanoparticles' possible uses in diagnostics, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine, we also highlight their contributions to personalized medicine. In order to optimize nanomaterial-based drug delivery systems for clinical use and ensure their safe and effective implementation in biomedicine, further research is required to address the remaining challenges.
