Abstract

Sustainable chemistry, sometimes known as "green chemistry," is a way of thinking about chemical processes and products that aims to reduce the environmental impact of chemical manufacture by using fewer substances that could be detrimental. When it comes to finding permanent answers to pressing environmental issues like pollution, climate change, and resource loss, green chemistry is an essential tool. most recent advancements in environmentally friendly chemistry, demonstrating fresh methods and resources that promote environmental preservation. Research priorities include the improvement of energy-efficient processes, the utilization of renewable feedstocks, the development of solvents that are less harmful to the environment, and the development of catalytic approaches to reduce waste. Focusing on the utilization of recycled and repurposed resources in chemical manufacture, this article examines green chemistry and its role within the circular economy. Included as well are possible future research and development paths in green chemistry, as well as limitations and hurdles to its widespread adoption. These developments show that green chemistry can make industrial processes safer, cleaner, and eco-friendlier; as a result, it can contribute to a better future by reducing pollution.
