Abstract

By challenging previously held beliefs and expanding the boundaries of creative possibility, artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the field of digital art. generative algorithms, neural networks, and machine learning are influencing the production of contemporary art, particularly in relation to the growing relationship between AI and digital creative expression. New avenues for creative expression have never been possible before with the rise of AI-powered technologies such as style transfer apps, automated design tools, and generative picture systems. This article explores the potential of AI as both an independent content creator and a creative collaborator. It also explores the ethical and philosophical concerns raised by the increasing mechanization of the creative process, as well as issues of authorship, authenticity, and originality. Opponents of AI-generated art argue that it waters down human creativity, while supporters see it as a means of group creativity that more people can access.
