Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) is a modern cybersecurity framework based on the principle of 'never trust, always verify.' Unlike traditional perimeter-based security models, Zero Trust requires continuous authentication, authorization, and validation of every user, device, application, and network connection regardless of location. With the rise of cloud computing, hybrid work, mobile devices, and sophisticated cyberattacks, organizations are increasingly adopting Zero Trust to strengthen enterprise security. This paper discusses the principles, architecture, benefits, implementation strategies, challenges, and future directions of Zero Trust Architecture in modern enterprises.
