This paper explores the evolution of digital learning after the COVID-19 pandemic and its influence on student engagement in higher education. While digital technologies have increased flexibility, accessibility, and collaboration, they have also introduced challenges related to motivation, digital inequality, assessment integrity, and mental well-being. The paper concludes that sustainable digital learning requires pedagogical innovation, institutional support, faculty development, and equitable access to technology.
