Abstract

Innovative thinking is essential to an organization's expansion since it helps them overcome ongoing challenges related to market sustainability and survival.  Intrapreneurship gains particular significance for business development because of the creativity that organizations need to be innovative in order to adapt to change and be sustainable. Intrapreneurs are the innovation catalysts within a company, frequently tasked with producing new ideas, products, or services from within the existing organizational framework. Several concepts have arisen and research has increased because entrepreneurial employees play a critical role in innovation and competitive advantage. Considering the rising interest in the field, there is a need for a literature review that takes into account intrapreneurship and the difficulties associated with it. 852 articles published in Scopus Indexed Journals between 1985 and 2023 were found using the search terms "intrapreneur" and "intrapreneurship." Both Vosviewer and R studio were used in the bibliometric analysis of these retrieved articles. In line with the research objectives, the leading authors and their contributions to the field have been identified, thereby providing a foundation for developing recommendations and outlining potential directions for future research.
