Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Human Resource Management

Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a transformative force in modern organizational practices, particularly within Human Resource Management (HRM). This study examines the impact of AI-driven tools and technologies on core HR functions such as recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, training, and employee engagement. The integration of AI has enabled organizations to automate repetitive tasks, analyze large volumes of employee data, and enhance decision-making accuracy. AI-based recruitment systems help reduce time-to-hire and improve candidate matching through predictive analytics, while learning management systems personalize employee training and development. However, the study also highlights critical challenges associated with AI adoption, including ethical concerns, data privacy issues, algorithmic bias, and resistance from employees due to fear of job displacement. The paper emphasizes the need for a balanced approach that combines technological advancement with human judgment. It argues that AI should be viewed as a support system rather than a replacement for human expertise. The study concludes that when implemented responsibly, Artificial Intelligence can significantly enhance HR efficiency, employee satisfaction, and organizational performance, provided ethical guidelines and continuous skill development initiatives are in place.
