Talent retention has become a major challenge in the IT sector due to intense competition, skill shortages, and high employee mobility. This study examines various talent retention strategies adopted by IT organizations to reduce employee turnover and maintain a skilled workforce. It explores factors such as compensation, career development opportunities, organizational culture, work-life balance, and employee engagement. The study highlights that monetary benefits alone are insufficient to retain talent, and non-financial factors such as recognition, learning opportunities, and job satisfaction play a crucial role. The paper also discusses the impact of leadership style and organizational support on employee loyalty. It concludes that a comprehensive retention strategy aligned with employee expectations is essential for long-term organizational success in the IT industry.
