Abstract

Cultural globalization refers to the increasing exchange of ideas, values, and cultural practices across national boundaries. This study analyzes the impact of cultural globalization on Indian society, focusing on changes in lifestyle, language, consumption patterns, and cultural identity. It explores both positive and negative consequences of globalization, such as cultural exchange, modernization, and increased awareness, alongside concerns about cultural homogenization and erosion of traditional values. The study highlights how Indian society selectively adapts global influences while retaining local traditions. It concludes that cultural globalization is a complex process that reshapes social structures and identities, requiring a balance between global integration and cultural preservation.
