Abstract

Social media has significantly transformed patterns of communication in contemporary society. This study examines how platforms such as social networking sites have altered interpersonal communication, information sharing, and social interaction. It highlights the shift from face-to-face communication to digital interaction and its impact on relationships, privacy, and self-expression. The study also discusses issues such as digital addiction, misinformation, and online behavior. It concludes that social media has reshaped communication practices, creating both opportunities and challenges for individuals and society.
